Why so uncomfortable?
I can tell by the look on your face
The way you talk
And your body language that my hair bothers you.
But why? It’s JUST hair, that’s all it is. But thanks to the media and society feeding you these images of straight hair as “what beautiful hair should look like” you are now uncomfortable when you see a black woman wearing her hair the original way it came out of her scalp. It’s sad, very sad.
